FuRyu has a fairly large presence on the Switch already, with the likes of The Alliance Alive, Caligula Effect, and Monark joining the legions of JRPGs on the platform. Now another has been confirmed for a western release by XSEED – the action RPG Trinity Trigger.

Designed to hearken back to the JRPGs of old, Trinity Trigger features highly customizable action combat, eight weapon types, and even the option to play co-operatively with two other players.

There are also contributions from several established staff members. For example, Secret of Mana’s Hiroki Kikuta is behind the tunes, while the story is penned by Octopath Traveler’s Yura Kubota.

Trinity Trigger is set to launch in early 2023 for Switch and PlayStation.
