The Pokémon Trading Card Game will enter a new expansion phase next year in honor of the upcoming Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. Yet, there’s still some time left in 2022, which means Trainers can look forward to another Pokémon TCG: Sword & Shield expansion.

The Pokémon Company announced today that Pokémon TCG: Sword & Shield–Silver Tempest will be released on Friday, November 11th. The set will include three Radiant Pokémon (Radiant Jirachi and Radiant Alakazam confirmed), six Pokémon VSTAR (including Lugia VSTAR, Regidrago VSTAR, and Alolan Vulpix VSTAR), one Pokémon VMAX, 15 Pokémon V, 18 full-art Pokémon V, and 30 cards “with artwork featuring fan-favorite Trainers and Pokémon in the Trainer Gallery subset”.

Booster packs will feature artwork of Lugia, Alolan Vulpix, Regidrago, and Regieleki. As for who is the star of the expansion’s Elite Trainer Box, that honor goes to Alolan Vulpix!

Individual boosters, Booster Bundles, Elite Trainer Boxes (exclusive to Pokémon Center), and Booster Display Boxes are all available to pre-order online at Pokémon Center. Retailers that sell Pokémon TCG products will open pre-orders closer to Silver Tempest’s release on Friday, November 11th.
