This Saturday’s Splatoon 3 Splatfest World Premiere is almost here! The free demo to try out Turf Battles in Splatoon 3 has been available via the Nintendo eShop for over a week, but it’s over the next 24 hours that it’ll finally let us Squids and Octos in.
We’ve explored Splatsville (Splatoon 3’s hub) for ourselves. For now, the demo we’ll let us access a few things: a tutorial (where we customize our character and Little Buddy), Splatsville, a variety of menus, and choosing our Splatfest Tee that’ll declare which side we’ll rep in the Team Rock vs. Team Paper vs. Team Scissors Splatfest. Splatfest matches won’t go live until Saturday, August 27th from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. PT in the US. After that, our next visit to Splatsville won’t be until Friday, September 9th – when Splatoon 3 launches on Nintendo Switch.
