Nippon Ichi Software has announced the next numbered entry in the Disgaea series and given it a date, albeit only for Japan at the moment.
Disgaea 7 will once again return to the wacky Netherworld and will continue to use 3D models like its predecessor. The big new addition this time is the ability to make the characters gigantic to dole out even more damage.

Disgaea 7 will launch for Switch, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5 in Japan on January 26th, 2023.
