Earlier today Sega of Japan held a livestream confirming the last few games for the Sega Mega Drive Mini 2 in Japan. Shortly after, the western branches of the company confirmed the list and we finally have confirmation that the system will be heading to Europe on the same date!
As for those final games, there are some fantastic additions. The extremely rare Zelda-like Crusader of Centy is here, as is the iconically cheesy Sega CD game Sewer Shark. We also have some surprising games, including one we’re seeing for the very first time – Devi & Pii!

Unfortunately there are some notable omissions compared to what Japan is getting, such as Lunar and Popful Mail.
The Sega Genesis Mini 2 will launch in North America exclusively via Amazon on October 27th. European pre-orders will open in September.
