The main merchandising force of Pokémon focuses mostly on… well, the Pokémon, but just as often the trainers who command them are just as appealing. And Pokémon Center Japan will be stocking some new small keychain plushies of iconic trainers soon from their “Mascot Pokémon Trainers” line, including:
- Blue (Green in JP)
- Silver
- May (ORAS design)
- Cynthia
- N
- Professor Sycamore
- Lillie
- Marnie
- Rosa
Each plushie goes for ¥1,650 (~$12), which is quite affordable. They happen to coincide with another merch release for Pokémon Masters EX, which is presumably intentional, as that’s the most trainer-focused branch of the whole franchise (and these particular trainers appear in the new Trainer Lodge feature). As usual for such announcements, no word on whether or not the plushies will make a stateside appearance, but we can hope so!
