In the latest Steam beta update, support for the Nintendo Switch Joy-Con controllers has officially been added by Valve. Users who opt to use the latest Steam client beta can already connect their controllers to their computer and begin playing games via a USB Bluetooth adapter.

Previously, PC players had figured out how to connect the Joy-Con and Pro-Controller to Steam, however, functionality was limited and both individual Joy-Con were not always usable at the same time.

Not only does Steam offer remappable button prompts for the Switch’s Joy-Con, but players can also choose whether they would like to use one individual controller or two at a time.

Additionally, the new Steam beta update includes tweaks for the Nintendo Switch Online classic controllers.
