Earlier this year Sonic the Hedgehog 2 broke video game movie records and introduced the cinematic landscape to Tails and Knuckles. Now, the third movie in the trilogy has a date thanks to Paramount.

You’ll be able to watch Sonic the Hedgehog 3 in theaters starting December 20, 2024, the same planned release date for James Cameron’s Avatar 3.
We still have plenty to look forward to before then, though, as Paramount+’s Knuckles TV series is set to release next year.
