Starting today until August 9th, Mario Kart Tour players can now participate in the game’s first of two summer events, the Ocean Tour.

During the Ocean Tour, Mario Kart Tour players can gain access to two new characters and Mii costumes as they race atop the beloved retro course Daisy Cruiser from 2003’s Mario Kart: Double Dash!! on Nintendo GameCube.
Sailor Daisy and Sailor Toadette are now available alongside the Cheep Cheep and Dolphin Mii outfits. Additionally, Mario Kart Tour players who place high within the ranked cups during the Ocean Tour will be given the new Watermelon Kart as a reward. Summer log-in bonuses will of course also be available while the first summer event is active.
The Ocean Tour marks the beginning of Mario Kart Tour’s Summertime Celebration event which will contain two tours.
