Orchestral renditions of video game themes are more and more common these days, and usually they release after the game itself does — but some savvy folks at what has to be one of the biggest marketing departments in the world have figured out how to use such renditions to their advantage, as the main theme to Pokémon Scarlet and Violet gets the orchestral treatment:

 

 

The main theme of the game sounds similar to the main theme of the series, as is tradition, though as usual there are flairs and details that change with the arrangement. Overall, the orchestra sounds as nice as it should, and it’s never bad to see VGM get the proverbial royal treatment.
