If you’re gonna release a horror game, what better time than October, the spookiest month? NIS has announced that Yomawari: Lost in the Dark will hit the market on October 25th in North America and October 28th in Europe.

The latest in the Yomawari series, the game follows a very unlucky girl who is both amnesiac and cursed, and must explore her haunted hometown at night to uncover her missing memories. This new entry will let players customize their character, and features new elements, like the ability to close your eyes to not see ghosts, which I’m sure will be perfectly fine and won’t lead to terrifying jumpscares whatsoever.

A new trailer for the game shows off the terrifying ghosts and haunting sound design. So if you’re looking for something truly spooky for Halloween, this game seems right up your ghost-infested alley!

Yomawari: Lost in the Dark will hit Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PC this October.
