Capcom can’t be stopped when it comes to Monster Hunter. Their highest selling title may still be Monster Hunter World, but in the wake of its Sunbreak expansion’s launch last week we’ve got fresh numbers on Monster Hunter Rise.

Officially, Rise has now sold 10 million copies globally. Available only on Nintendo Switch and PC, it’s a fantastic showing for one of our favorite third party titles. Sunbreak is off to a solid start as well, moving 2 million units in its launch weekend. Both still have a long way to go when stacked next to World and its own expansion, Iceborne, but it altogether speaks to the power of the brand on a worldwide scale.
For those playing Sunbreak, look forward to content updates into 2023, and seeing these numbers climb higher still.
