A few months ago, it was announced that classic JRPG and very good video game Legend of Mana would be getting an anime adaptation sometime this year to commemorate the series’ 30th anniversary.  While released with a short teaser, we finally have a proper PV to sink our teeth into.

We get a glimpse of our protagonists, some of the denizens of the wide world, and some voice acting. The PV is a bit rudimentary, but it shows many of the iconic Legend of Mana elements, from Lil Cactus writing stories down to a Sproutling bobbing off the tree. They even tease the game’s previously unseen female protagonist, Serafina, at the end, showing that both she and Shiloh will be involved in the story somehow. We’ll have to wait to find out how.

The anime is coming in October. Stay tuned for more info on a specific date.
