It’s official! After leaking yesterday, the release date for Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope and more has been confirmed thanks to today’s Nintendo Direct Mini: Partner Showcase. Slated for October 20th, 2022, we were treated to some battle tactics featuring Mario, Rabbid Rosalina, and Rabbid Luigi during today’s presentation. Plus, Bowser is joining in on the fight!
This is only a taste of Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope news this week. Tomorrow, at 9 a.m. PT | 12 a.m. ET, Ubisoft will be hosting a Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope Showcase on their official YouTube and Twitch channels. As for what they’ll cover, hopefully we’ll get some new gameplay footage. No doubt that the game’s multiple editions – regular, Cosmic, and Gold (the later which includes the game’s Season pass and is priced $89.99 on the Nintendo eShop) – will be discussed. Thanks to Ubisoft’s press site, we have visuals for a vairety of weapon skins and confirmation that the Season Pass will include a new playable character.
Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope is available to pre-order at various retailers and on the Nintendo eShop today. Now, it’s a waiting game. It’ll be a few more months before you can help Mario, Rabbids, and friends rescue the Sparks from Cursa when Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope launches only on Nintendo Switch on October 20th, 2022.
