Over the weekend brick-builders could tune into LEGO CON 2022 and see plenty of new announcements for new sets and returning favorites. Amongst these was the next announcement for LEGO Super Mario – new character packs!
The random grab-bags have been where several more obscure Mario enemies have gotten the spotlight in the past and this time is no exception. Sure there’s the long-awaited Nabbit and Hammer Bro, but who’d have expected a Toady from Yoshi’s Island, or New Super Mario Bros. U’s Waddlewing?

LEGO Super Mario will be getting another major addition this August with the arrival of Princess Peach, meaning there’s plenty for fans to look forward to.
