Fans of River City Girls will be happy to hear that its heroines, Misako and Kyoko, will be heading back in time to become playable in River City Saga: Three Kingdoms.
The game, which transplants the classic beat ’em up/RPG gameplay into the classic period of Chinese history, features plenty of River City staples already but when the game launches outside of Japan next month 12 more characters will be added, including the River City Girls.
They’ll be playable in the Battle of Red Cliffs mode where up to 4 players battle through 10 stages as characters of their choosing.
River City Saga: Three Kingdoms launches in North America on July 21st.
