From developer Dume Games Studio and publisher JanduSoft, Astronite will be bringing more Metroidvania action to Nintendo Switch later this year. Giving off several familiar indie vibes from iconic titles such as Gato Roboto, below viewers can take a look at Astronite’s announcement trailer that shows off a black and white world of invasive creatures and intense platforming.
In Astronite, players take control of the brave titular explorer to traverse a huge map packed with different zones, enemies, big bosses, and a whole lot of hidden secrets. It’s Astronite’s mission to save the uncharted planet from an invasion and restore its civilization back to normal.
Astronite will launch on Nintendo Switch sometime this year. The game will be receiving a physical release alongside its digital one. When more details about Astronite are made available, we’ll be sure to let you know!
