Today Outright Games shared the first trailer for its upcoming game based on the animated Star Trek Prodigy series, subtitled Supernova.
Primarily aimed at a younger audience, Prodigy as a series still features plenty of Star Trek iconography and themes, not to mention a familiar face in the holographic form of Captain Janeway. The Supernova game is set to be a 1-2 player action adventure romp where you can play as Dal and Gwyn as they race to rescue their friends, make first contact with a new alien race, and save a planetary system from the titular stellar event.

Star Trek Prodigy: Supernova comes out of warp for the Nintendo Switch and many other platforms this October for $39.99 / £34.99 / €39.99.
