Here at Nintendo Wire, we like to think we know a little bit about de-makes. While the de-makes we’ve made have been visual concepts only, some fans take it a step further and create playable experiences for retro systems. This time, the physics puzzler Portal has been completely recreated and is successfully running on the Nintendo 64. And the most impressive part? It looks absolutely stunning!

The project was created by James Lambert and is currently available to download via Gitgub right now if you want to give it a try. Who knows, with a bit more development and assistance from the community, we might see a fully playable campaign before we know it! Stay tuned.
