Traffic. Easily one of the most reviled aspects of the human experience. Truly a collective and momentous waste of fuel and time; it serves for many as the harbinger of a day of full-time toil and an obstacle in the way of home. And yet, Dinosaur Polo Club over here is trying to make me think about this foe in a fun new way…

Mini Motorways has already been available on both Apple Arcade and Steam, but now it’s steering onto Nintendo Switch. Though its time on today’s Indie World was short, it showed a pleasing aesthetic paired to the thrills of infrastructure management. You’ll be in control of highways and streets in areas based on real world cities, tasked with letting the people get too and fro.

Seemingly simple in presentation and premise, Mini Motorways has no less gotten my attention and looks to be a promising pick up and play addition to any eShop library. You can grab it on Switch later today.

When he isn’t writing for Nintendo Wire, Ricky’s anticipating the next Kirby, Fire Emblem, or if the stars ever align, Mother 3 to be released. Till then he’ll have the warm comfort of Super Smash Bros. to keep him going.
