Nintendo Switch Sports might be giving some console owners their fill of soccer inspired fun already, but there’s something a little more extreme just around the corner. Mario Strikers: Battle League marks the return of this particular sports spinoff sub-series, bolstering its online side and introducing some new mechanics.

Some of those are being shown off in the above Japanese video, which gives a full overview of what the Strikers games are all about and what’s new in this entry. Most notably we have Battle Clubs, letting you squad up with your friends and take on the world together, and the new gear system that can affect your on-pitch stats. Mario Kart style items are also in the mix, as is the ability to tackle your teammates to boost them along the field.

Be on the lookout for more Mario Strikers: Battle League, set to release on June 10th.
