The River City series has long left behind solely focusing on the mean streets of the titular township, exploring worlds of fantasy and history alike.
The series’ latest release, River City Saga: Three Kingdoms, is a unique take on the classic Romance of the Three Kingdoms, featuring Kunio and company taking on the roles of iconic figures from the classic Chinese novel. Of course the gameplay is the beat ’em up style the series is known for, with a large interconnected world and plenty of moves to unleash.
River City Saga: Three Kingdoms will hit the West on Switch, PlayStation 4, and PC on July 21st, 2022.
