Plenty of folks want to live in the worlds of Disney – that immersion has basically been the raison d’etre of the many theme parks since they first opened. Soon, though, you’ll be able to do it digitally with the newly announced Disney Dreamlight Valley.

Set to be a free-to-play game available through Switch, PlayStation, Xbox, and PC, Dreamlight Valley takes cues from the likes of Animal Crossing and Story of Seasons as you restore a kingdom by expanding a village, farming, cooking, fishing, and more. Of course the main gimmick is the presense of Disney heroes and villains who’ll come with unique quests and rewards.

The game is pitched as a live-service experience that’ll expand over time after it launches in 2023, though an early access period will be available later this year for those who purchase a Founder’s Pack or have an Xbox Game Pass subscription.
