The Ghibli-esque action-adventure game Baldo: The Guardian Owls landed on Switch in August of last year to mixed reviews thanks to an abundance of bugs, but developer Naps Team has been hard at work not only fixing various bugs and developing a brand-new story adventure, but has also been working with Pix’n Love Publishing on a physical edition of their game.

Pix’n Love’s physical edition of Baldo will be available for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4, and will be up for pre-order on May 3rd, 2022. There is no confirmed special edition at this time but Pix’n Love has stated that they would have more information soon.
In addition to the physical release, Baldo has gotten a brand-new free update, available now, titled The Three Fairies. The Three Fairies is an all-new adventure that will last roughly ten hours and comes with an assist mode for both the base game and the new story adventure.
