One of the earliest PlayStation 5 exclusives is setting sail for new horizons, with googly eyes set firmly on the Switch. That’s right – Bugsnax has arrived! Based on tracking and capturing its titular creatures, Nintendo fans will be able to join the fun on Snaktooth Island.

It’s not just the original game that’s coming to the eShop, as its free Isle of Bigsnax update will also be available. This adds a good three to four hours to the existing campaign and sees members of the original voice cast returning for this new adventure, and will also add some updates to the main quest too.

The above trailer gives a full runthrough of the Isle of Bigsnax additions. Fans and first timers will be able to see it all for themselves when it launches on April 28th. That’s the same day that Bugsnax will arrive on Switch, Steam, Windows 10 and Xbox consoles for $24.99. The game will also be available on the latter two via Game Pass.
