Maybe you made your first Mii for Wii Sports, or perhaps your sports streak began on the NES. Now though, a new era of Joy-Con flailing and living room catastrophes are on the way – for the whole family!

Yes, Nintendo Switch Sports is but a month away, and a new overview trailer has arrived to share some details both familiar and new. More than anything, the five and half minute video is a great one stop shop for all that’ll be happening at Spocco Square.

While I’m into the idea of dual wielding in Chambara, it’s once again Bowling that has my full attention. Special Lanes seem like a great idea here, bringing the game just a little closer to something out of Mario Party of Super Monkey Ball. And the fact the game can casually drop something called “Survival Bowling” on us as an online game mode? I need to know more, I need to know if my Sportsmate will be okay…

Speaking of those not-Mii avatars, we got a look at their customization capabilities. Some of those outfits are looking fresh for the likes of Extreme Luke and Vague David (I love these titles so much) and some will even be rewards bought via points earned from playing online. Between that and its ranked progression, I can definitely see some people getting extra competitive over this one and I’m here for it.

Nintendo Switch Sports will be limbered up and ready to move when it launches on April 29th.
