Elden Ring might be blowing the world away with its evolution of Souls-like gameplay from the pioneers of the genre, but if you’ve been waiting for something decidedly more retro-inspired you might want to check out Souldiers.
Publisher Dear Villagers and developer Retro Forge Games have released a new gorgeously animated trailer as part of the MIX Festival for the upcoming game which is set to combine Metroidvania exploration with “crunchy soulslike combat.”

Souldiers releases across a variety of platforms including Switch on May 19th.
