It’s been a while since we heard an update on Evil Dead: The Game, with the only recent news being that the title had been delayed once again from its February launch. Finally, we have some more positive news on the game, delivered once again by big man Bruce Campbell.

Campbell, who is reprising his iconic leading role as Ash Williams, is again here narrating the latest trailer. This time the focus is on the Kandarian Demon, a main antagonist throughout the Evil Dead media franchise and an ancient demonic spirit responsible for the creation of the Deadites and other supernatural phenomena. Campbell explains how, should you choose the side of Evil, there is Infernal Energy littered across the game’s maps that’ll “increase your power” once collected.

As the Kandarian Demon, you also hold the power of possession. With this, you’ll “command Deadites, puppet the good guys, and haunt objects to screw with the survivors’ minds” in your goal to let Evil reign. The trailer shows that you can possess objects such as trees and Ash’s beloved Delta car.

Evil Dead: The Game will launch on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on May 13th. As for the Nintendo Switch version, the release date is unknown, with the video description for the latest trailer vaguely stating that the game will see a “future release” on the platform.
