Atari’s electrifying music-driven arcade classic from legendary game designer Jeff Minter will soon be getting its first portable iteration. Later this year, Tempest 4000 will be coming to the Nintendo Switch eShop. While details on the upcoming port are sparse, viewers can catch a first look at Tempest 4000’s Switch release trailer below!
 

 
Like the game’s other releases, Tempest 4000 on Nintendo Switch is set to feature the familiar trippy graphics, 100 levels, and three game modes that can all be found in the original version of the game along with its recent ports to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

While Tempest 4000 does not have a concrete price point or official release date yet, viewers interested in the game should not that according to Atari the game will release “Spring 2022”. When more information regarding Tempest 4000 is released, we will be sure to let you all know.
