One of the tight-lipped secrets going into the release of Pokémon Legends Arceus was that the starters — Rowlet, Cyndaquil, and Oshawott — all had new Hisuian forms. Now, a couple weeks after launch, we’ve gotten official art of all three: Hisuian Decidueye, Hisuian Typhlosion, and Hisuian Samurott.
Decidueye has traded archery skills and Ghost-typing for fisticuffs and Fighting-typing, Typhlosion has chilled the eff out and entered a goth phase with its own Ghost-typing, and Samurott has decided that Peace Was Never An Option and donned the Dark-typing and black-and-red shelling of an evil shogun. They’re three creative variations of already beloved Pokémon, so it’s wonderful to be getting proper artwork of them.
