If one thing has stuck with people after last week’s Nintendo Direct, it’s the site of Kirby holding an entire automobile in his maw. Mouthful Mode managed to make an impact immediately, becoming as memetic as it is adorable. The Japanese site for Kirby and the Forgotten Land gets this, and has provided more video clips of the known Mouthfuls.

With these extended looks, we get to see even more techniques. Water-Balloon, for example, can let Kirby water plants to make them grow and deliver rewards. It’s also a great opportunity for more music, enemies, and stages to be spotted!

These aren’t the only new clips floating around though, as the site also showcased several of Kirby’s upgraded copy abilities. These include:

  • Noble Ranger
  • Pencil Drill
  • Volcano Fire
  • Frost Ice
  • Chakram Cutter
  • Gigant Sword
  • Chain Bomb
  • Clutter Needle (called Junk Needle in Japan)
  • Toy Hammer (called Piko Piko Hammer in Japan)
  • Swallow Tornado

As seen with Needle and Hammer, some of the unconfirmed names here could change in the game’s localization. It’s also worth noting that Crash and Sleep are both present on this page, but don’t seem to have any upgrades available to them – so much for a power nap…

A few of the higher tier upgrades are also shared. Along with the previously shown Dragon Fire we have:

  • Full Metal Cutter
  • Crystal Needle
  • Blizzard Ice

Between these and plenty of Mouthfuls, we might be on our way to Kirby’s most versatile array of abilities yet! Discover all of them when Kirby and the Forgotten Land is found on Switch beginning March 25th.
