Wahoo! A platforming hero from Bandai Namco’s backlog is getting a second wind when it comes to Nintendo releases. Klonoa Phantasy Reverie Series was announced during yesterday’s Nintendo Direct as a pairing of both the original Klonoa: Door to Phantomile and Klonoa 2: Lunatea’s Veil.

Originally released for the PlayStation and PS2 respectively, these titles represent the core of the Klonoa series. Along with them were some handheld offerings and cameo appearances in the likes of the Tales of series and Namco X Capcom, but it’s really the first time the little guy’s had a go since Phantomile’s Wii remake in 2008.

Whether you loved these platformers already or are curious to find out more about them, you can play for yourself when Klonoa Phantasy Reverie Series releases on July 8th.
