PlatinumGames is one of those developers that instantly makes one perk up when it’s announced they’re working on something. The house that brought us Bayonetta, Nier: Automata, Astral Chain, and more has rightfully earned that reputation. Their next title isn’t another 3D action title though, but instead a 2D vertical shooter that wouldn’t be out of place in an arcade.
