Kirby has been having a fantastic new year so far, and it’s looking like that trend is going to continue. Following up on a new Kirby and the Forgotten Land trailer and the debut of his 30th Anniversary logo, a pair of plushes have been announced to celebrate the latter.

Both Kirby and Waddle Dee are going back to basics, with a style that calls to mind their earliest days together in Dream Land. This isn’t the first time Kirby’s gotten this sort of Game Boy throwback treatment, but Waddle Dee tagging along is a nice surprise! Who knows, maybe we’ll see more familiar faces and visual styles down the road?

These classic Kirby 30th Anniversary plushes will be releasing this April.
