Square Enix’s HD-2D strategy RPG Triangle Strategy is releasing in just a few months, and the company’s started to release character and story trailers to explain more of the political backdrop of the game’s plot. The first details Roland Glenbrook, youngest prince of Glenbrook and fast friend of protagonist Seranoa.

Roland is an idealist, one who questions the difference between nobility and peasantry but is forced to confront the reality of politics and diplomacy. His main conflict will stem from choosing whether or not to engage in illicit activities with a neighboring force for the sake of his country or exposing the corruption for the sake of his ideals. The trailer also briefly introduces a number of characters close to Roland, such as his father King Regna, Crown Prince Frani, Princess Cordelia, and more.

Triangle Strategy will test our convictions when it releases on March 4th, 2022.
