Monster Hunter and Universal Studios Japan have crossed paths plenty in the past. Experiences from Capcom’s iconic series have come to the theme park, usually as limited time attractions. Likewise, USJ-themed equipment has appeared in the games, most recently in Monster Hunter World as part of Event Quests.

Now, as we head towards the upcoming Sunbreak expansion, it’s Monster Hunter Rise’s turn.

No firm details were given, but a Universal Studios Japan collab is now confirmed for Rise! Per the official Monster Hunter site and that Tweet’s Japanese counterparts, Event Quests are on the way that will somehow tie to USJ. Specifics weren’t provided, but it seems to imply whatever it is will not be tied to purchasing Sunbreak based on the “Monster Hunter Rise” branding.

Look forward to more details on this collab and other Monster Hunter happenings soon.
