Developed by a small indie team in France and updated regularly since its initial PC release in 2019, the RPG Edge of Eternity is finally heading to consoles. While the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One versions will run natively, the Switch port will instead use the cloud-based service Ubitus.

The game’s story focuses on the conflict between technology and magic with a sizeable cast of characters. As for the gameplay, you’ll be able to explore an expansive world, while combat is turn-based with an emphasis on using the environment to your advantage.

As the game comes to consoles it will add a Japanese voice-over option, making it feel even more like a JRPG.

Edge of Eternity will launch for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on February 10th, 2022, while the Switch version will arrive a little later on February 23rd.
