In this February’s Nintendo Direct, it was announced that the popular game show-style bean simulator Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockdown would be heading to Nintendo Switch this summer.
We are now in the final month of the year, and still no Fall Guys. According to a blog post on the official website, the Nintendo Switch and Xbox versions have been delayed into 2022 to make sure the cross-platform play and progression between versions is up to speed. The purchase of developer Mediatronic by Epic Games means that Fall Guys will be using Epic Games Accounts to provide the cross-platform progression, hopefully meaning that, when the Switch version does arrive, players won’t need to start from scratch.
We’ll keep you updated when a new launch window is announced.
