Rockstar Games has announced a delay for the physical release of Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition for Nintendo Switch; rather than launch on December 7th, 2021 as planned, physical copies will now arrive sometime in “early 2022.”
The delay also affects Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4, which will launch 10 days later than planned on December 17th.
The release dates for the physical versions of Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition have changed.
Xbox Series X / Xbox One and PS4 will now release on December 17. The Nintendo Switch version is coming in early 2022.

The news comes just a few hours after the announcement of a significant update pushed to The Trilogy, which fixes several glitches, visual errors, and other issues found with the games.
While available on other platforms, the update will take a few days to reach Nintendo Switch versions of the game.
Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition launched on the Nintendo eShop on November 11th, and was met with a lukewarm response due to bugs and missing visual details.
