We may be at the end of a different era when it comes to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. The next online tournament event has been announced, featuring vehicles that are ridden on as the main platform – think F-Zero, Pilotwings, and Star Fox.

As fun as these free-flying stages can be, it’s also been announced that starting next week we’ll be seeing reruns of previous, popular events.
From 19/11 onwards, popular spirit events and event tourneys will return in #SmashBrosUltimate. Have fun replaying your favourites, or catch up on challenges you missed out on!

Seeing those recycled may point to there being no more on the way, which would make sense now that Sora has arrived as the final fighter. Time will tell if we get anything special here and there, or any new batches of spirits, but it seems this piece of Smash is also ready to rest.
