It’s a spooktacular season full of frights and follies, but there are few things more bone-chilling than a game being trapped on an outdated and unpopular console at an exorbitant price. So it was with Fatal Frame: Maiden of Black Water, a 2014 Wii U title that’s now being rereleased for the Nintendo Switch and other platforms. You can buy the base game for a reasonable $39.99, though you can also splurge to get the Digital Deluxe Edition that includes a digital artbook and costumes from past series protagonists. If you purchase the game within the first couple weeks you’ll also get a Ryza costume (from Atelier Ryza) to wear. So if you’re looking for a spine-tingling sensation on Halloween night, this might be the choice for you!
