The 1990’s were huge for both Japanese RPGs and anime, with both catapulting to new heights of popularity, and this latest game from the developers of UnderHero is capturing both with style.

Wander Stars is a turn-based RPG with a decidedly anime aesthetic, where the story unfolds like an anime episode – you’re even encouraged to play “reruns” to earn upgrades and discover parts of the story you may have missed.

Combat itself also looks quite unique, with you combining words to form attacks.

Wander Stars will be getting a Kickstarter campaign soon and is currently planned for release on PC and Switch.
