This week we’ve been spoiled with animated Pokémon shorts and movies. The third episode of Pokémon Evolutions (featuring Lysandre and Xerneas) was released yesterday and Pokémon the Movie: Secrets of the Jungle is available to stream worldwide via Netflix today! What also joins the line-up is a brand new PokéToon short directed by Masanobu Hiraoka (key animator for Little Witch Academia’s ED). Watch this gouache-like animated short come to life as three kids hang out in their secret base.
Previous PokéToon shorts have been about befriending ghosts and becoming a Gengar, celebrate Slugma, tell a short little story about a boy and his Magikarp, and more. You can watch all of them for free on the official Pokémon Kids TV Japan YouTube account.
