Great box art can make a world of difference for a game. While it’s ultimately what’s inside that really counts, how else are you going to tempt people over that aren’t glued to every Nintendo Direct and social post? Thanks to updated retail listings, we’ve gotten a look at Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp’s box art; and while I’d call it eye-catching in its own right, it’s got even more pull for veterans of its grid based strategy.

Modeling itself after the GBA original’s box, we once again have some of Orange Star’s finest taking point. Andy, Sami, and Max have climbed back into a tank for a nearly picture perfect recreation of their first mission. While Black Hole Rising stands out as an improved sequel, I’ll take this colorful and vibrant image from the first game any day.

Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp will be taking on new recruits when it rolls out on Nintendo Switch December 3rd. You can pre-order your copy at the following retailers: Amazon, GameStop, and Best Buy.
