As part of Tokyo Game Show, Capcom saw fit to unveil the last of its Monster Hunter Rise crossover collabs. These have brought various characters from their games into Kamura Village and beyond, including elements of Okami, Street Fighter, and Mega Man. Now another is joining the hunt, side scrolling all the way from the arcade days.

Layered armor based on Arthur from Ghosts ‘n Goblins will be available beginning October 29th by clearing its associated Event Quest. This special armor will offer up new animations and music, and it can thankfully take more than a single hit in this game.

It may be the final Capcom Collab, but that doesn’t mean it’s Rise’s last guest…

A Sonic the Hedgehog collab is planned for the future, though no specifics were given at this time. Sonic armor previously appeared in Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate, which was noted on stream, but whether what we’re getting will be a rehash of that Palico gear or something new remains to be seen.
