This week’s Nintendo Direct, which was filled with announcement after announcement, managed to find 90 seconds to spotlight Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity. Specifically, we’re talking about the game’s DLC. With Wave 1 releasing back in June, we were teased with some basic details for Wave 2 and an estimated release date of November 2021. Today the details are a bit clearer and Wave 2: Guardian of Remembrance will be here early by launching on October 29th.
Guardian of Remembrance will be bringing some new stories into the mix – pairing certain characters together (Urbosa with the King of Hyrule, Mipha with Sidon, and more). As for a new playable character, we finally have confirmation that Purah and Robbie will be duking it out on the battlefield. The two are being treated as a duo, from the brief time they’re shown in the trailer.
Features
New Story – Battle for Kakariko Village, Battle of Goponga Village, and more
New Stages – Coliseum, and more
Newly Added Playable Characters – Purah & Robbie, and one more
Added actions for existing characters
