Sonic Colors: Ultimate’s launch may have seen Sega’s speedy mascot stumble a bit, but the response appears to be just as quick. After making it known they were actively working on issues reported by players, today they’ve released the “first of several” patches for the game onto Switch.
Hi everyone – We have deployed a patch for the Nintendo Switch for Sonic Colors: Ultimate. This is the first of several patches (for all platforms!) that will begin rolling out in the near future. Thank you for your patience!

Notes were not given, but it is known the patches will also be coming to other platforms as well — not just Nintendo Switch. However, even if the use of an emulator and presentation of such as genuine performance is occluding the matter, it’s clear the Nintendo console version of Sonic’s spacewalk needs the most work.
You can hear more about how it plays in our own Sonic Colors: Ultimate review.
