The Funko POP! Pokémon line continues to grow! Between celebrating the 25th anniversary with special silver metallic releases of Kanto favorites, as well as releasing Diamond Collection variants for online conventions, Funko is ready to add more for fans to collect ’em all. Announced today on Funko’s official Twitter, five new Pokémon Funko POP! figures have been revealed. Who made the cut this wave? That’ll be Pidgeotto, Caterpie, Dragonite, a silver metallic variant of Squirtle, and a 10″ jumbo sized version of Charizard!
Release dates vary on the figures. Target lists the jumbo sized Charizard POP! as releasing on January 8th, 2022 and the other standard sized POP!s releasing on February 6th, 2022. Amazon, which lists only three of the POP!s, states they’ll be released on December 17th, 2021. And then we have GameStop and their expected release date of November 21st, 2021. Unfortunately, Funko has yet to verify which date is the correct one, as they’ve listed the non-exclusive figures as “Coming Soon” on their site.
You can pre-order them now at Target, GameStop, and Amazon. As for the jumbo sized 10″ Charizard Funko POP! – you’ll only find this big lizard-dragon only at Target.
