The attention to detail is stunning, as is the ludonarrative, philosophical, and emotional underpinnings that look to make this game legendary. Odds are by the end of the year there will be a definitive best Nintendo Switch game — and it won’t be Breath of the Wild, Super Mario Odyssey, or Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.
