The classic PlayStation Monster Rancher games are getting more than an upgrade in the Nintendo Switch and PC versions of Monster Rancher 1 & 2 DX. For fans that fondly remember raiding their parents’ CD collection to summon monsters, then you’ll want to check out this special edition that Japan is getting. Sorry, Suezo fans, this special 25th-anniversary bundle is celebrating the franchise and its most popular monster – Mocchi!

  • Physical Nintendo Switch copy of Monster Hunter 1 & 2 DX
    • Note: PC version will include a Steam key
  • Gold Mocchi metal figure (with serial number)
  • Monster Rancher 1 + 2 Soundtrack CD
  • Monster Rancher internal planning documents
  • Special issue of Tecmo Player’s Mag Vol. 2021
  • Reprint of Monster Rancher 2 “Seccret CD”
  • Reprint of Mocchi vinyl backpack
  • All packaded in a special “Enternal Memory Box”

This special edition is available to pre-order through GAMECITY’s online store in Japan for ¥15,070 (about $137.18). Some import sites are selling a limited number of the sets, like Play-Asia for $157.99 (you can save 5% with our code NINWIRE at checkout).
